Hello, Blogging World!

My name is Mia and I consider myself a writer. What writer do you know that doesn't blog? It was only a matter of time until I finally started one of these. I'm honestly really excited about this little page of mine. Right now I'm calling it "All She Wrote" because I know this blog is going to be a hodgepodge of life stories but, guess what? That domain is taken. In the meantime, I have one of those lame free domain names. I'll get to that later, I guess.
I know the most important part of writing is to just do it and keep doing it. I started writing a book about a month ago (shhh! It's a secret surprise for my grandma. Don't tell her!) and I was working on it every single day. Then I went on a short trip to watch the big SpaceX launch of Crew Dragon which turned into a long trip because the launch got scrubbed (that's NASA lingo for rescheduled). A two day trip turned into a week-long trip during which I did not write a single word. Surprise, surprise. I haven't written since.
A space like this will allow me to practice, keep the rust off, and share my life stories. I dare say, my life is pretty interesting. I have what I consider to be double the size of a normal family, a new faith journey, a dream to live full-time in an RV, a remote job in technology, a cute cat, a huge appetite, and a hot boyfriend.

Update: as you may have noticed, the blog name is Vida Mia. I like that better anyway. ;)
